Break the dozen eggs from the furthest distance was a task featured on Season 2 of Taskmaster Australia, as the second task in Dingo dongo. The task was won by Wil Anderson.
Summary[]
The contestants had to break a dozen eggs from the furthest distance. Their time stopped when the first egg broke, so they had to break all the eggs in one go, but each egg that didn’t break would halve their distance.
Performance[]
Anne Edmonds: Anne wrapped the carton in an oven mitt, confused about whether the task was to break eggs or not, and threw it from the balcony onto the lawn. She broke 8 eggs from 11.32m, making her official distance 70cm, receiving 2 points.
Jenny Tian: Jenny asked Tom to go down to the dock and break the eggs. However, when Tom asked how to break the eggs, she very clearly instructed him to throw one egg onto the ground and step on it, which he did. She broke 1 egg from 309.5m, making her official distance 15cm, receiving 1 point.
Josh Thomas: Josh took the eggs out of the carton and dropped a target on them from the balcony. He broke all the eggs from 5.5m, receiving 4 points.
Lloyd Langford: Lloyd took the lid off the carton and threw it up in the air as he ran away, but the eggs landed very close to his starting point. His distance was initially measured as 32cm from where his feet started, but at Josh’s suggestion, 2m was added to account for the height of his hands when he threw the carton. He broke all the eggs from 232cm, receiving 3 points.
Wil Anderson: Wil got Tom to break the eggs with the massive wooden hammer as he gave him a hand signal from the balcony. He broke all the eggs from 78.3m, receiving 5 points.
